We believe legged walking machines present advantages over wheeled machines in rough terrain, providing greater mobility, better isolation from the terrain irregularities, and energy efficiency. These advantages make our locomotion controls advantageous for many emerging industrial robotics applications.

Remote supervision is a mode of operation where the robot is largely autonomous but receives periodic guidance from a remote human supervisor. We have created algorithms to identify geometric properties of objects in the remote environment, including geometry, dimensions, and orientation, for this purpose.
